Videos play using the standard Microsoft Media Player at  DSL & Cable Broadband speeds. (150Kbps).   If you are using an older 56Kbps phone line modem, you will not be able to keep up with these videos.  In which case you can use this trick:  As soon as the video starts to play, press the "pause" button and wait for it to finish buffering the video.  Another method is to just "right click" on the video and "save target as..." to your hard drive.  Then you can run it from there.

Members...
How to upload a video to the club.  Any video format is ok.

  • Email them as attachments if under 2MB to webmaster@radiosignalmodelers.com
  • If you use AOL, you can use the new free service called AOL's http://www.XDrive.com service.  Just sign in using your regular AOL or AIM screen name and upload your video to your XDrive video folder.   After you finish uploading your video to your XDrive folder, select it and click the 'send file' button. Send it to: webmaster@radiosignalmodelers.com
  • Non-AOL users: Good news, you don't have to be a paid AOL subscriber anymore to get your own AOL/AIM screen name and use their XDrive service.  Same as above, after you finish uploading your video to your XDrive folder, select it and click the 'send a file' button. Send it to: webmaster@radiosignalmodelers.com
  • Burn your video to a CD and give to the webmaster at a club meeting or one of the club officers.
  • If you have analog tape (Beta, VHS, 8MM, DVD, MiniDV, etc)  that's ok too.  We'll convert them and give right back.

Topics can include your own flying videos, construction tips, models you are working on, how-to videos, ... etc.
Everybody is good at something, so make a video and share your expertise!
