New Flyer Information Section

First, you'll need an AMA insurance card (see below)

RSM flying club benefits such as field events, instruction, dual-control buddy-box flight training see our club's Membership Form.

AMA INSURANCE CARD (required to fly at our field)

AMA - $58 Regular Membership application form
(Includes the magazine, well worth it, and your flying insurance)

AMA - $29.95 Park Pilot Program
(Reduced insurance, electric only, must not exceed 2 pounds)

AMA $19.95 “Introductory Membership”
(3 months trial for new pilots including insurance. Fees are transferable to a full membership within the ninety day program )

IMPORTANT! In order for your insurance to be valid, you must have either your name/address or your AMA# affixed to your model.

Ground School - Some basic lessons on learning to fly RC airplanes

Your first Heli should be the Blade CX2  This will introduce you to the basics of hovering and the maneuvering skills you will need.  However it is for indoor flying only and outside "no wind" days (which are rare).
