Super Cub Rebuild - Presented by Ted Noncek

Ted presented tips for restoring crashed airplanes. To illustrate the potential for repairing our “mistakes” at the field, Ted brought in President Mike’s 1/3rd scale Super Cub that suffered a terrible mishap last fall. After many hours of work, the Super Cub has been brought back to life. Ted pointed out that with the availability of ARFs, repairing crashed planes is not always the most economical decision. But the fun of working on a plane and putting back together the puzzle of the broken pieces can be a rewarding experience. In many ways when we repair from a crash it is a time to  improve on the ARF and make it a unique new plane. Watch for the return of the Super Cub out at the field this spring with its new trim scheme.
